What are the usage methods of mortar penetrometer? The mortar permeability tester is designed based on hydraulic principles, using an electric motor to drive the water pump to apply pressure. It is connected to the pressure vessel, control valve, and mold seat through a pipeline. The pressure is output by the water pump into the pressure vessel and then transmitted to various specimen systems for loading tests. The pipeline is equipped with an electric contact pressure gauge and an electrical control system. By adjusting the electric contact inside the electric contact pressure gauge, the pressure can be tested at a constant pressure within the specified range of 0.1-1.5mPa.

Usage of mortar permeability tester:

1. Unscrew the bolts of the water injection nozzle on the pressure vessel, open 7 valves on the workbench at the same time, inject clean water into the pressure vessel, observe the smooth discharge of the control valve drain pipe, then close the control valve until it is full and overflowing, and then tighten the bolts.

2. Fill the water inlet tank with clean water.

3. Remove the two different nuts on the water pump, pull out the upper baffle and water pump plunger, fill the pump with clean water, and then install it in the original direction to start up and work normally.

4. Power on, turn on the power switch of the mortar penetrometer, and ensure that the water pump can operate normally (there should be no impact phenomenon). Observe whether the water output from the six test mold seats is normal until there are no bubbles.

5. Adjust the electrical contact pressure gauge to the 1.5 megapascals position.

6. Close the control valves one by one, observe whether the pressure gauge pressure rises, eliminate various leakage faults, and ensure that the pressure can stabilize within the regulated range.

7. According to the standard test method, install the trial molds one by one in place, and do not tighten them initially. Open each trial mold control valve, observe the leakage of water from each trial mold seat, tighten the nut, and adjust the electrical contact pressure gauge that needs to be tested according to the requirements to work normally.
