The wheel tracking apparatus is used to determine the high temperature rutting resistance of asphalt mixtures, to evaluate the deformation resistance to the permanent deformation of a bituminous test. This test is subjected to continue movement of a wheel, that applies the load in an environment with controlled and constant temperature. It can be used for auxiliary inspection of asphalt mixture ratio design, and can also be used for high temperature stability inspection of asphalt mixture on site.
